Dear Holly I know that there are many individuals trying to help the situation highlighted by this documentary - please don't forget to write to your MP, MEP, and to sign the online petition. I am aware that the Director of the Documentary Kate Blewett has already started work to help this particular Social Care Home in Mogilino - follow link - http://www.truevisiontv.com/abandoned_help/index.htm In this she writes: "Since my film ‘Bulgaria’s Abandoned Children’ was broadcast on BBC Four a week ago, I have been inundated with offers of help from a great many people who are distressed by the children’s welfare and disgusted at a social care system that allows such neglect to happen. I have been able to harness that help and, along with a team of concerned professionals working in Bulgaria, we are establishing Bulgaria’s Abandoned Children’s Trust." As far as I can detect from reading other websites she is currently in the process of setting up charitable status for this trust - something which can take weeks.
